The Mueller Property Owners Association (POA) was established as a vehicle to manage Mueller’s extensive open space and the large number of attached, for-sale residential units known as row homes. Unlike a traditional Home Owners Association (HOA), the POA includes all of the commercial property owners at Mueller that also pay assessments to help maintain Mueller’s common areas, such as parks, pools and playscapes.
Like HOAs, the POA also helps maintain values for both residential and commercial properties by ensuring not only that common areas are well-maintained, but also private properties within the community. Additionally, the POA manages exterior modification requests based on Mueller’s Design Guidelines. Services provided by the POA include, but are not limited to, managing landscape and pool cleaning services, lifeguards, tree maintenance, limited security patrol, assessment invoicing, bill payment, annual budget development and monthly revenue/expense tracking, row home maintenance requests, insurance and more.
The POA does not control Mueller’s street or sidewalk maintenance, refuse collection, traffic controls, wildlife care, police, fire or emergency medical services, or the behaviors of those who use Mueller’s common areas.
