A Bit More About Mueller
The 700-acre Mueller community, the redevelopment of the former Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, is an award-winning, planned urban village in central east Austin. The community is designed to be a transit-oriented and pedestrian-friendly model of new urbanism and sustainability. Upon completion, Mueller will be home to:
- More than 16,000 residents (that’s more than Elgin or Buda!)
- Another 16,000 employees
- Nearly 6,900 homes, condos and apartments (with 1,725 or 25% part of an an affordable homes program)
